Well, still in the uk, enjoying the English Summer dressed like a friggin eskimo. Me and Al have spent the last weekend taking it pretty easy apart from a bit of training and catching up on a few emails.
We watched the last round of the World Superbikes at Silverstone on the Sunday but rather than going there this time we just watched it live from the lounge room of our mate Ray's place. What a good couple of races! Bayliss and Haga giving it to eachother up front, while Barros in the 1st race was left doing the high jump over his flaming CBR at the 1st corner. Anyone who'd rather watch Golf or Tennis than that stuff on TV needs the space checked where their balls used to be. Was stoked to see Bayliss come out on top aswell, he's a top bloke and deserves the title this year. Hope he keeps it going. Toseland played the role of the local hero, apparently he's fast becoming a rock star as the lead singer of his own band here in England. Bloody hell. Anyways, it was good to watch. Got a call from a mate Warren Watson yesterday who's over here aswell at the moment. He's living up in Birmingham somewhere so Me and Al are gunna head up there and hang out with him for a few days. Should be a laugh, he's a funny bastard. Will send another report in soon. All the best, Damo. |
