Who will get Damo's signature for 2007?
Well it’s that time again folks, that’s right ‘Silly Season’.
It’s really not hard to see why it’s called the silly season. Riders go here, there and everywhere, Team Managers look for new recruits, and most times it’s all the same bunch of guys at the end of the day, all just riding around on each others old bikes!
Still, it’s the same every year, and it’s no different in the 2006 off season.
A lot of people are asking me what I’m doing for 2007, and to be honest I’m yet to decide which way to go.
I’ve just come off a strong year, with some good results, a few podiums, and a 3rd place in the WEC title.
This is obviously a bonus to me come this time of the year, so I’m looking at a couple of different options in the WEC, and also some that include racing outside the WEC in 2007.
Of course I’m also looking at remaining at Phase One Yamaha for another season in the World Endurance Championship.
Anyone who is involved in World Endurance Championship will know however that the 2007 calendar is still yet to be released. This is something that is seriously getting on the nerves of Riders, Managers and Sponsors alike.
How can you make a decision on what to do when we haven’t even got a finalised calendar?
Anyway, I’m sure it’s not far away, as is my decision to who I’ll race for in 2007.
